The 'Old Newnham Students' Club' was started in 1881 to enable past students to keep in contact with each other and the College. The Royal Charter granted in 1917 allowed for the establishment of the Newnham College Roll which would. amongst other things, maintain a register of all past students. The College Club Letter last appeared in 1917 and in 1919 the first College Roll Letter was produced. The College Roll Committee records are at NCAD/6/5
